THE GROUP, an « Industry and Services » solutions integrator

Out of a constant concern for combining its desire for economic development with the development of communities with which it interacts, SALAMANDER Group has taken the decision to contribute towards improving the social and environmental conditions for product manufacturing provided to its clients.

SALAMANDER Group subscribes to the principles included in reference texts indicated hereunder which it recognises as absolute minimum principles to be respected in terms of rights and entitlements:

  • The Universal Declaration on Human Rights, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in resolution 217 A (III) of 10 December 1948 ;
  • The Convention on the Rights of the Child, adopted by the General Assembly of the United Nations in resolution 44/25 of 20 November 1989 ;
  • The Declaration of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) adopted in June1998 on the fundamental principles of employment, namely :
    • Freedom of association and effective recognition of the right to collective negotiation ;
    • Elimination of any form of forced or compulsory labour ;
    • Abolition of child labour ;
    • Elimination of discrimination in employment and profession.

By adopting the SALAMANDER Group ethical charter, each supplier hereby undertakes only to deliver and supply products which are manufactured and produced in full respect of the principles outlined in the aforementioned texts.
